My First Class went a little like this....

Ok, maybe it is a little late for me to update my blog. For this post, I would like to share about my first telecommunication class for this semester, here in UTM.
For the first class we learned about telecommunication which can be divided into two, tele and communication. Tele is a Greek prefix which means far while communication means transmitting message to gives information, exchange of thoughts, as by speech, signals, writing or behaviour.
Telecommunication begun since the ancient era, however it is not like how we do now. as an example, Greek hydraulic semaphore system has been used since 4th century BC (source, Wikipedia), at that time, they could only utilize a very limited range of pre-determined message. From that, it began to expand and becomes more advance such as in 1792, Claude Chappe built the first fixed visual telegraphy system,(replica of Chappe's semaphore tower showed above). Thanks to them, we have what we have now and we should appreciate them.
